Did you try deleting the files in the dynamic folder?
Does re-booting the computer after exiting the game have any effect when starting Divinity again?

Try the file verification method mentioned in the Troubleshooting topic; perhaps run the configuration program after a clean install, create a CRC file, start and exit Divinity, verify the files using the CRC file. Something must be different after playing Divinity.
