Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Should I? (More help please)

Well, I just finished the Orc Run, (I love getting 6 levels in an hour <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />), and I picked up the 2 Very Large Charms you get, one being Strength, the other Constitution. I want to put it in an item that I will keep for a very long time, and I noticed my Saphire Ring Verlat gave me had 2 charm points. The stats of the ring:

+4 Intelligence
+5 Resistance to Poison
+10 Resistance to Spirit
+2 to sight
Blind +1

Will I most likely be using this ring for the rest of the game, because I don't want to waste my good Charms...

Also, one more thing, which skill do you think is better? Poison Weapon or Skin of Poison. I have Poison Weapon up 4 levels and it's doing some INSANE amount of damage, but I'm not sure if Skin of Poison is worth it.

I don't think I ever found another ring that compared to that one (thuogh mine had different stats.) It's probably worth it.

I was pleased with what ol Verlat gave me also. I think mine has 2-3 slots, can't remember but....
I'd put one of your good ones in now and mayhap you will find one with greater more wondrous charm to add to that ring.

i'm just guessing here but u are playing melee character, right?

for one of the quest which require u to battle unarmed, u should pick at least 2 levels for skin of poison. after all, u'll get hit quite often in your future adventures so why not give some of the love back to the ones who strike u?

4 levels of poisoned weapon is very nice. it'll melt almost anything. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" />

I got the following (at a higher character level, since I did much of Rivertown before going to Verdistis);

6 Constitution
40 Vitality
40 Magic
10 Resistance to Lightning
Alchemy +1

that's why I reloaded a lot = waited for 5 charms and nice spells = the ones I like: Deadly Disc, elemental hail, blind, curse etc.
