Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Broken Quests

Hey there people - I was just wondering if the whole Dr. Elrath quest was essential to advancing the main storyline? I did the whole lockpick the door and get kicked out thing, meaning i now can't get through the rest of the house and therefore can't complete the quest.

Do i have to do this quest or can i skip it? I'm not too keen on starting the whole game again...

you don't have to restart the whole game and I don't remember anymore if ti's essential. but try the other <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" /> related forums, there are fixes over there afaik

Getting kicked out is part of the quest. Now you need to get back into the house. The rest of the doors in the house are locked, but no key will open them... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shhh.gif" alt="" />
