Just listened through Faith (you know, the Cure album) with lyrics (faded down voice with ecco+ Robert Smith's thick voice and English accent= Lyrics quite hard to figure out for a 17 years ol Swede...). There are some really good lyrics here. Primary for example. Brilliant lyrics (since it's allready been posted I whon't post it). Here are some other examples:

I adore Ava Adore by S.P. btw. Very nice lyrics. Great love song indeed.

First impression wasn't that good really. Andrew Eldritch's dark, melodramatic singing didn't exactly help in letting you hear the lyrics. Listened through them while doing some reading just to get into the feeling though. They sounds better and better, espessially First last and allways, the least mainstream of the two albums (thought the all the song sounded more or less the same the first time I heard it). Black Planet, Dominion and (and this is not just to be kind. Believ me) Lucretia, my reflektion is acually quite good songs.
Andrew Eldritch lyrics seems quite dramatic (for good or bad, your choice), from what I've heard and read btw.

You have to keep in mind the time that Sisters wrote those songs. We are talking about 80's. And after all it is about a dark wave/gothic group. I find the lyrics dramatic too but if you take a closer look you will realise that The Cure have such lyrics too. Especially in Pornography alboum.
I hope that you will like it and do not cry for your money. Still these alboums are now collective to have.

I have read what people say about Adore. Still I find it one of the most great love songs I have heard. Some girlfriends do not mind you know? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

About the SoM album "Reptile House"... I haven't found anything about it... At all. The only offisial albums I've heard of is "First and Last and Allays", "Floodband" and "The Vision Thing"(or something like that). No "Reptile House". And there was some songs mentioned before which was not on either of my albums (FaLaA and Floodband) ("Tembple of Love" was one, you had allso posted some lyrics that wasn't on either of my albums. Maybe they where from the reptile hous... Or maybe from the Vision Thing (from what I've read it was the Flop album (notice: big F))).

Ah The Reptile House is very hard to find now.
There are though two alboums called
"Girls wonder by Mistake" and
"Greatest Hits Volume one"
Both are by Sisters of Mercy and you will find almost everything in there.
They might be a bit expensive so think about it before you buy.
