You have to keep in mind the time that Sisters wrote those songs. We are talking about 80's. And after all it is about a dark wave/gothic group. I find the lyrics dramatic too but if you take a closer look you will realise that The Cure have such lyrics too. Especially in Pornography alboum.
I hope that you will like it and do not cry for your money. Still these alboums are now collective to have.
