The beginning is very much like Horror : You wake up in a cementery. Everywhere dead bodies lying around.
The whole game is imho the Philosopher under the RPG games, very good, very deep, much to read (if you want to): And quite weird also, with a flying skull as a party member, for example.

Its a great game Spick, if you are will to read a lot of text. Very deep, very dark and disturbing. Its nice to have a game made for a mature audience and also a character who is a bit different than your usual hero Tell us what you think!

I will call you "Squishy", and you will be my squishy! OW! BAD SQUISHY!

PS:T is the greatest CRPG ever made. It's loads of fun, and is very hard to describe without using words like "blown away" and "simply amazing."
If anyone disagrees, then let me be the first to tell you, "You're wrong." :P

non pc gamers may tell u otherwise; nature lovers rather see the sunset, those who love sports will tell u it doesn't break any sweat, console lovers will still swear by their FF games. & then there are hardcore FPS gamers who can't tell turn-based RPG from squad-based .... .
preferences differ. personally i haven't play that game. if u want to recommend the game, tell us WHY it's so good or the best or whatever. sincerely, i want 2 believe in this text-heavy game, but convince me first. i'm sure spick wants solid facts & advantages other than praises of the game.
nice to know there are still avid RPG gamers other than the boring hardcore FPS twitch gamers.

Well, I guess meeting a storyteller in the game who tells his stories by representing several *big* textboxes is quite an amount, I think. That's my personal point of view.

Im sure none of us meant to be vague jangutt, truly. This is one of those games where some things are best left as a surprise. Yes this is a text heavy game, but I cannot stress enough how worth it it is. Ill try to provide a little more information without actually spoiling anything.
Your character is immortal, you awake in a crypt with no memory of who you are, or how you got there. Your body is a withered mess of scars (Trust me, you look scary in a seriously "Dont mess with me" kind of way). A floating skull "Morte" is your only initial companion, and though you dont know it yet, you and he go back a long way. Over the course of the game you will discover the background of your character, and what a black history it is. You are known as the nameless one and a magazine I read once listed him as one of the greatest villians to appear in a game. How you play him is up to you but lets just say you can damn or redeem yourself as you see fit.
Your immortality is part of what makes the game so interesting.
*Minor spoilers*
At one point I found a dead mans hand with a ring on it, you bite off your own finger and fuse the dead mans ring to the stump and it slowly grows back.
At another point you remember concealing something in your body and can have yourself cut to pieces to find it.
*Bites my tongue* I want to rave about this game but I wont. Really, you are better off just playing it.
