Getting used to it pretty quickly, i'm up and down in the mortuary like a fiddlers elbow.
Just as i write i have been hacked to death by 2 big men with what looked like scythes?
I found a portal but have not used it as yet,being nosey i'm having a good look around.
Got a whacking big hammer as my best weapon at the mo'.
Jesus H Christ, there is sh*tloads of stuff to pick up already, most of it useless i suspect.

Yeah I found the mortuary a little dull, once you are out of there things start to get interesting. And beware the goldfish, its actually a red herring!

Strangely, the Mortuary is one of my favourite areas in PS:T. Damn it, but the baby's got an atmosphere, here. Creepy, spooky. Little sounds that made me jump.

Besides, you first meet Deionarra there. I loved her music, among other things.

Winterfox. I agree, I love mortuary for it's sounds. And when you first meet Dejonarra, there is so much drama in this.

Be careful to do extra quests. You can get some nice new falsies for him!

I love the big teeth marks that come up when he does a critical. Hell I love the way the whole screen shakes when you or anyone does a crit. Enjoy, you planescape virgin you.

Just a sidenote : On the Interplay website there are Patches for very special occations : One turns Morte into an EasterEgg (literally ! ) and the other one Annah into a kind pf Leprechaun, I guess.

Alrik, i have been there and installed the 1.1 patch, but i'm a wee bit worried about any of the other stuff , it might muck up the game i've started? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />

I seem to remeber the patch wont wreck your savegames and you really do need it. Unpatched there are some broken quests which can stop you finishing the game if you go a certain path.

Which patch are you on about Mandrake?

Planescape movie... would be bad. I mean, I have yet to see a single game-to-movie adaptation done well. Heck, for that matter, most game-to-book (and book-to-movie) adaptations stink.
