I am still sauntering around the hive at the mo',but i have been told to go to ragpickers square to get Pharod, i'll be on me way there in the next couple of days. Dak'kon has joined me now so i'm slaughtering a few of the Hive thugs...just for laughs, and listening to Morte's taunts on each occasion that i attack. Been to Fell's tattoo parlour, but thay are a bit costly at the mo'...Question, how long do the untimed tattoos last?,is it untill i die (again) or what?

Nope, the indefinite tattoos last forever (that is, as long as you have them equipped). For some reason the characters can equip and unequip tattoos :s, now the Nameless One, okay, he may be able to just cut them back off, but I wouldn't want to be the one to hear Dak'kon's squealing when you take a blade to his shoulder

You *never* waste your coppers on tattoos. (there isn't much else to waste it on anyway) But watch out that you actually buy a permanent one. Some are of the 'Cast when Used'-type. I've blown all my coppers on tattoos of Health yesterday. Too bad Morte can't use them. He's got space available on the side of his skull, doesn't he? But maybe that would make it harder for him to score any dead chits

I've heard that you could get Morte a skeleton body back in the Mortuary, did you try this or had you not heard of it?

No, you can't get him a body for real I think. The only bodies he thinks are good enough are the Giant Skeletons, and they attack you as soon as you try to twist their heads off. I think the whole body-thing is just a joke

Right...this magic system, do the slots on the left side of the mage books have to be shaded black to show that there is an available slot for a spell to be memmorised ?,reason being is Dak'kon has plenty of spells on the right side of his book but can not get them to go on the left side of the book apart from the spells he starts off with???

No, the boxes that are 'closed' are the ones that are 'transparent'. The boxes that are open have a stony texture. Try deleting one of Dak'kon's memorized spells (left-click on one of the spells on the left side)... you'll see the box is like a stone slot-thing.
So, spells available for memorizing are on the right, spells memorized and available for casting are on the left. This side also contains the spells that you've already cast (the grayed out ones) Left-click a spell available for memorizing and it will appear in one of the slots on the left side (if you have any available that is)
Do you know how to actually cast a spell? You right-click anywhere in the world and select Spells from there... took me some time to figure out... Also, when you're a mage, try reading Dak'kon's Unbroken Circle of Zerthimon. Depending on your stats, you can get some nice bonuses out of that...

Oh, and also, spells you want to memorize become available for casting after resting... so finding a place to rest (you've already found one - Angyar's Kip) is somewhat important.

Right then.....i have just slaughtered a shedload of cranium rats and that rat Many-of one or something, don't think i was supposed to? ,but he did not leave me any options, he wanted me to go and kill the Silent king, but i had the feeling he was a good guy even though i could not get in to see him? So at the mo' i am wandering the Warren of Thought killing Wererats and collecting goodies, very spooky down these dungeons, very atmospheric music and sounds, excellent P.S. i am on the lookout for some water for the stone faces and Pharod talked me into getting something for him in return for some "info"

The Silent King is actually a good guy... well, errrm. Let's just say the Dead Nations are the 'good' guys in this place and Many-As-One and the cranium rats are the bad guys. Have you visited the Dead Nations yet? From there you'll find both the water and the thing Pharod wants you to collect.
