Actually I would suggest you to get Nordom as he or it will be the only ranged dude in your party. And he is really good in it if upgraded correctly.

In the maze, write it down, write down every move, it may take long, you will learn to run fast to avoid those constructs just running from one entrance to another. Do this if you are out of healin potions and feel death is behind your shoulder.
Yes, you will find both evil wizard and Nordom if you set the maze on HARD only. As I remember wizard is not a weakling <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> He has couple of surprise kick *ss spells. But, you can still beat him and his minions.
And Nordom is very interesting character to play with IMO.

Mmmh.. definitely take Fall-From-Grace with you, for healing, but keep her out of harm's way. You can leave Annah behind for now though, as she's not much good at this point in the game. Be sure not to kick her off the party when you're in the maze though, or she'll go *pow* when you reset it.

Maybe you should wait a while until you've gained a few levels before attempting the Modron Maze. Also, the 'running for the exit' works pretty well, but be minful of the constructs when you have to backtrack! But let me tell you, if you're having trouble with the hard constructs now, you'll get obliterated by the EWC. He's a real badass.

Guess what...................I went back in using the modron cube thing, changed the maze to hard , ran past the first guards ,and "hey presto",in the very next room there was Nordom!!!,and that's where i left it last night after having had a long chat with him and picking up 36000XP.
I now have 6 in my party,TNO,Morte,Dak'kon,Annah,Fall-From-Grace and now Nodrom.
So today i'll move on thru the maze and kick this Wizard chaps ar-se..

You can upgrade Nordom after whuppin' the Evil Wizard Construct. But chances are you'll kick him out the second you find... well, someone else.

One helpful hint: the room of the EWC is always entered from the south. So every exit North can lead to his room. EDIT: another hint: remember that if you leave the room, everything you've killed will stay dead. So if you have to, leave the room to heal. I didn't have much trouble with the EWC (my Nameless One regenerates faster than enemies can harm him - thanks to two Tears of Salieru-Dei and a Tattoo of Greater Health) but if you already had trouble with the Hard Constructs (who will also be present), take the battle one piece at a time. You'll get shredded otherwise.

Who else can join? i did have Ignus but he got up my nose so i killed him and removed him from my party!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin1.gif" alt="" />
C'mon then you helpers/guiders who actualy killed the evil wizard in the modron maze??,i've got to him but you don't stand a chance to do anything before he fires his big cannon and then backs that up with lightening, i've tried using mortes litany of curses but it don't seem to work on him??

C'mon "advisers" i need answers.

Well, the only answers I can give you is wait until you've gained a few levels before tackling the EWC. He's not going anywhere, so you can just go on with your quest until you're strong enough. The EWC is a real bruiser, so really, don't try to take him on until you're fairly powerful.

As for who else can join, you'll see. Don't worry you haven't missed him/her yet. You still have a long way to go before you meet him/her

Nearly got him last night, started off with Swarm, that stopped him and his big gun but them bleedin' robots were to plentiful for me, guess i'll take your advice and move on, this has held me up for 3 days now.

I had to give up the ghost and went on to meet Ravel in her maze, fairly easy but just as i found the portal to leave there my game crashed to the desktop and a little balloon popped up from my task bar saying i was low on Virtual memory and was adjusting it itself .
As you know i have a new PC with all mod cons,256DDR,80gig hard drive, so what is all that about? any ideas?

It is OK now, moved on and exploring Curst.Look at the map of Curst and you can see a good resemblance to the PIPBOY from Fallout, it's where the scrap yard is, so close it must be deliberate or my imagination is reather vivid!!!

Hehe! It probably is deliberate. Hey did you get Falls from Grace in your party BTW? I never got her, I left Sigil before I realised, and then it was too late!

Oh, i told ravel that i could fall in love with Annah, but i sucked up(lied)to ravel about my affections for her,got loads of bonuses ,like +1Wisdom twice!!,+3 to hit points,and tha old hag gave me some goodies before i slaightered her(or so i thought).
