Trias (TRiassic) is the name of one of the Earth's periods of tome - it was the ascending of the Dinisaurs. IN the Triassic, however, one of Earth's most strange and most destructible events took place, forcing several hundred or thousand species to die out.
No-one knows what might actually caused this, although there are some theories about it.

Back on topic, yes Vhailor whacked the snot out of Trias in my game too. The advatages of the different outcomes are as follows:

+ You let Trias go, and Vhailor doesn't kill him (either he's too far away, or he's not in your party): You can buy the Tattoo of the Redeemer (and alignment becomes more lawful and good) but you miss Trias' weapon and scroll.

+ You let Trias go, but Vhailor slays him: you get the Celestial Fury Scroll and the Celestial Fire Weapon (no alignment change of you yell "Vhailor, no!" - you become more evil if you just watch the fun)

+ You say you'll let Trias go, but you kill him anyway after he tells you what you need to know: You get Celestial Fire and Celestial Fury, and you can buy the Tattoo of the Betrayer (alignment becomes more evil and chaotic)

+ You just kill Trias: You get the Celestial Fury and Fire. (alignment becomes more evil)

Personally I think the second is the best outcome: you lose no alignment, but you get the Weapon and Scroll.

Ah, now I'm feeling nostalgic!

Never did finish Planescape: Torment. Got all way through Curst and.. my apartgment caught fire. Didn't pick up the game after the move, then I had to reinstall the software and well...*shrugs*

I think I'll reinstall it after a go through Divine Divinity. With the dual-jewelbox version, instead of the four CDS.

I have the four CD version, not really a big bind, did they ever bring out a DVD version?, I am hoping that and if they are multidisc come out with a DVD version.

Yup. Full circle. Don't forget to have a chat with Morte and Dak'kon before you enter. The three things you *must* have with you are the Bronze Sphere, the Blade of the Immortal and the Negative Plane Protection token. Don't leave home without 'em!

I've only gone and finished it,exhilerating battle at the end with TTO.
I assume i was sucked down into Hell at the end, or at least that's what it looked like.Unless i got the bad ending, perhaps it was because of the actions i took during the game??
Lets hear you views on the ending all of you who have pointed me in the correct direction.

Spoiler

This is my answer and you are the proof.
-Nothing- can change the nature of a man.
This was actually mortality's answer to a question.

There are several different endings, it depends on your actions.

Do you know the answer, Spick ?

You can beat mortality, you can suicide so mortality also dies and finally you can unite with your mortality and become whole again. So, this depends on your meaning of winning. I prefered the latter choice.

As for the answer If you really interested, I may look for exact answer for you Spick

*takes deep breath*

You can do much more, in fact:

+ You can threaten him with the Blade of the Immortal - he'll merge with you because he'll be destroyed otherwise (you have to convince him you share a link first) - This was my ending

+ You can force him to merge with you by telling him you know 'our' name - which in fact the player never learns (no it is not Adahn, that's a different story - have you found Adahn, spick?)

+ Tell him you were not meant to be divided, and that things will be fine if you merge again - he'll believe you and merge (req. CHA 24)

+ You can also threaten to unmake yourself by sheer force of will, which will force him to merge again (req. WIS 24)

+ Also, if you've managed to talk Vhailor to death or managed to 'create' Adahn, your answer will be 'Belief can change the nature of a man' - which will allow you to unmake the Transcendent One with your wilpower. (req. WIS 21)

+ You can force him to merge with you through sheer force of will (req. WIS 24)
+ You can attack and destroy him by saying "Let's see if my mortality can be slain!"

+ You can talk to him about his powers, which allows you to resurrect one party member before you fight TTO

+ You can actually tell him he has to go check on his shadows, which gives you time to resurrect all of your companions (req. CHA 21) and face him with your companions by your side - you must have found the Sounding Stone in order to do this.
+ You can actually commit suicide with the Blade of the Immortal, causing your death and the Transcendent One's. You will get the 'You are incapacitated and can no longer complete the game'-message, or the video of the Trancendent One's destruction, can't remember which.

+ You can also actually unmake yourself with your will, which will cause your destruction.
Either way, if you destroy him, your companions stay dead (maybe you can resurrect one companion quickly by talking to him about his powers - or two, if you talk to Morte first (he's playing dead)

If you merge with him, you will resurrect all your companions and say your goodbyes to them. So merging is definitely the better alternative.

Regardless of what happens, however, you will have to pay for 'your' crimes, and the Nameless One gets sentenced to Hell - which in Planescape means fighting in the Blood War (remember Death's Advocate's lecture in the Festhall?)

By the way Egin, there were actually three answers to 'What can change the nature of a man?' - The Transcendent One's answer was indeed 'nothing' (this was my answer to Ravel too), but the first incarnation's answer, and thus the answer of the Nameless One altogether was 'Regret'. If you managed to force Vhailor to unmake himself by talking him to death, or if you've managed to create Adahn, The Nameless One's answer will change to 'Belief'

Oh dear oh deary me, i just walked up to the git and did a shedload of magic on myself and even more shedloads of magic on him before he could get a word in edgeways!!
Mainly because previous to that with my 3 incarnations i got 2.0000.000 XP by getting them to merge with me and so i had lots of new magic to play with, by the way ,obviously i played as a Mage.
I saw some rather glitsy cinematics and the sound was awesome with my new tricks, we had a long hard battle with me running away to get a few charms off, and then use more magic to finaly blast him into oblivion.
Then i saw a a short sequence where i was drawn to Hell, pulled an axe out of a body, i assume, and march off to war , there were Dragons fighting in the distance, and that was that,by the way did you spot that Sheena Easton played the part of Annah!!

They weren't dragons, they're demons And yes, Sheena Easton plays Annah, and Nordom by the way is played by Don Castalanetta - who does the voice of Homer Simpson

Did you get the magic from the Symbol of Torment? That one's really cool - offs the Transcendent One with three blasts or so.

And what about Adahn, did you 'find' him? That was one of the spookier scenes in the game.
