I just got Lionheart last week although I haven't started playing it. I'm still too involved with PS:T's storyline.
[color:"red"] ***************************** SPOILER ***************************
Btw, I was able to find Gris' stash and the necklace. They were kinda hidden. I found them by accident when my cursor went over this one patch of stuff outside of Marta's (in The Buried Village). So I did the same thing (took time and moved the cursor around) outside of Ojo's house and found the rest of Gris' stash. Not that it was worth all that time! LOL But, I was able to clear it off the Quest ledger.
At this point in time I'm a little stuck. Been looking for Ravel's portal. I've been to the Sensorium, met Quell, gained a ton of experience and memories from the sensory globes. I have Fall-from-Grace in my party and Ignus. I just pulverized the Evil Wizard and his crew in the Modron Maze. That was fun! I love that little maze - it's a great way to gain experience points AND stuff to trade in for money. I'm saving all of the lenses and arrows though. I assume there's another character I'll be able to add to my party (can't wait to get rid of Ignus - "he's a burnin' crackle house!"). But, I need him for now.
I play with the AI on and the comments that the character's say to one another are too funny. I've ventured to Under Sigil and realized that my party isn't experienced enough to stay down there for long periods of time.
Sooooo, that's where I'm at in PS:T. I'm looking forward to Lionheart as soon as I can tear myself away!
Enjoy the weekend!

P.S. Almost forgot - I joined the Godsmen and found that weapon thing. I also found the Dreambuilder and went through the "maze" sequence. I suspect that was foreshadowing what's to come when I get in Ravel's maze.

It's great to hear you are doing fine Faralas.
As for Undersigil, it was my favourite place for leveling. Those worms were awesome, was it 2000xp per one? Yummy I took TNO and Nordom in my powerleveling party, left all others outside. TNO was just standing next to exit. Nordom was pulling worms one by one running in circles. It was a bit boring but exp was great
I am currently addicted to NWN. Will make some break off PST, knowing that now the game works and I will be able to truly enjoy it.
NWN is a great game. It was criticised a lot by gamers, I don't see a reason why. Even I have blamed the game, basing my opinion on reviews. That was wrong. I can say it is revolutionary, TOP QUALITY game in RPG genre.

I love the faces on those Larval Worms -- too cool. I don't know how many points you get for each kill but I was able to finally get TNO up to a level 13 mage. When I added Nordom to my group, I got rid of Ignus. He's in Penn's Tomb near the Mortuary. I figured I'd keep him there in case I need him or if I just want to kill him. I just finished 7 hours of uninterrupted writing and programming so after a quick break, I'm going to indulge in a little PS:T. It's time to hit Ravel's Maze. But first I'm going to stock up on healing charms and stuff like that. I am currently addicted to NWN. Will make some break off PST, knowing that now the game works and I will be able to truly enjoy it.

For some reason I assumed it was multiplayer and I am not really into those (yet). However, while it has multiplayer capabilities, it's also a one-person RPG -- much to my delight and surprise! Last month I bought Lionheart, the Diablo Battlechest which included Diablo I, II and the Expansion set, and I pre-ordered . I also bought a Tungstun T (PDA it was on sale and I couldn't pass it up), a 64 MB memory card for it, wireless keyboard, new software for it and a bunch of 'gadgets'. Hey, I'm lucky I can afford this stuff but I am now toying with the idea of buying NWN's Platinum series. That (apparently) has everything, including the expansion set. It's $39.99 at Electronics Boutique (which is where I buy most of my games). Decisions, decisions... to buy or not to buy, that is the question! I must have swept that area with my cursor twenty times and I found nothing Yep, Stormrider and I thought of you when I found them. They were really hidden well. I'm actually surprised I found them! In addition to those items, I also found a bunch of other stuff hidden in those heaps of 'rags' in and around the Buried Village. I know there was one other stash of loot (other than the 2 hidden places of Gris's) but there may have been a total of two. My memory fails me but I seem to remember finding a leg bone and 25 coppers near the entrance to the Catacombs and one other stash of coppers some place else. Anyway, PS:T is probably my favorite RPG. Well, next to The Elder Scroll Series: Morrowind. Those are the games I'd want to have if I was stranded on a fully equipped digital island. Hey, spick! You changed your avatar. What a handsome dude!
Just a note to everyone that I finally finished PS:T just a few minutes ago. What a rush! Great game - great ending. I want to play it again one of these days.
But one curious thing did not happen in my game (maybe because I played as a mage?), I never met Vhailor (or however you spell the character's name). I saw the name in the credits and promptly forgot the actor's name who portrayed him/her.
The best part of the whole game experience was I truly felt as though I was transported into another world. World building is difficult enough but to create one where the reader/player is able to 'lose themselves' for a moment or two is quite a feat.
Anyway, that's it! Great game and thanks for all of your help.

Oh! This is sooooooooooo much fun. Plus, I don't think I ever opened up the 8 circles of Zerthimon and a couple of other quests. Okay, back to frolicking in PlaneScape! WaaaHooo! "... wish i was there with you when you were jumping up and down with the news.Good luck Faralas. Actually, Spick, you were here with me - although in spirit. You know - it never occurred to me that the characters could walk behind portals - into another room. No wonder I missed finding him! Anyway, I had a lot of fun yesterday afternoon. Now it's back to the real world (which really isn't so bad). Thanks again! *takes deep breath*
You can do much more, in fact:
+ You can threaten him with the Blade of the Immortal - he'll merge with you because he'll be destroyed otherwise (you have to convince him you share a link first) - This was my ending
+ You can force him to merge with you by telling him you know 'our' name - which in fact the player never learns (no it is not Adahn, that's a different story - have you found Adahn, spick?)
+ Tell him you were not meant to be divided, and that things will be fine if you merge again - he'll believe you and merge (req. CHA 24)
+ You can also threaten to unmake yourself by sheer force of will, which will force him to merge again (req. WIS 24)
+ Also, if you've managed to talk Vhailor to death or managed to 'create' Adahn, your answer will be 'Belief can change the nature of a man' - which will allow you to unmake the Transcendent One with your wilpower. (req. WIS 21)
+ You can force him to merge with you through sheer force of will (req. WIS 24)
+ You can attack and destroy him by saying "Let's see if my mortality can be slain!"
+ You can talk to him about his powers, which allows you to resurrect one party member before you fight TTO
+ You can actually tell him he has to go check on his shadows, which gives you time to resurrect all of your companions (req. CHA 21) and face him with your companions by your side - you must have found the Sounding Stone in order to do this.
+ You can actually commit suicide with the Blade of the Immortal, causing your death and the Transcendent One's. You will get the 'You are incapacitated and can no longer complete the game'-message, or the video of the Trancendent One's destruction, can't remember which.
+ You can also actually unmake yourself with your will, which will cause your destruction.
Either way, if you destroy him, your companions stay dead (maybe you can resurrect one companion quickly by talking to him about his powers - or two, if you talk to Morte first (he's playing dead)
If you merge with him, you will resurrect all your companions and say your goodbyes to them. So merging is definitely the better alternative.
Regardless of what happens, however, you will have to pay for 'your' crimes, and the Nameless One gets sentenced to Hell - which in Planescape means fighting in the Blood War (remember Death's Advocate's lecture in the Festhall?)
By the way Egin, there were actually three answers to 'What can change the nature of a man?' - The Transcendent One's answer was indeed 'nothing' (this was my answer to Ravel too), but the first incarnation's answer, and thus the answer of the Nameless One altogether was 'Regret'. If you managed to force Vhailor to unmake himself by talking him to death, or if you've managed to create Adahn, The Nameless One's answer will change to 'Belief' Ahhh...what I loved about PS:T -- so many ways to finish the game. (Also what I loved about NWN:HOTU.)
