And don't forget two things :

A. You should better use a Firewall, at least a Personal Firewall, that's better than nothing.

B. You must ALLOW the game to access the internet, then.

For D2 this would mean the following :

1. You have in this example Zonealarm running.

2. You start D2.

3. After you initiated the Internet access from within the game, use the key combination ALT TAB (ALT pressed, then TAB) to switch back to the desktop.

4. There you see something looking like a dialogue-box : You need to click the ALLOW part ("yes") of it for the game, and check REMEMBER for the future.

5. This is the case for the first time you have Zonealarm running with a game or program, generally speaking.

@ Alrik!

I just installed Zonealarm and it works very nice. Didn´t get a single pop up since than...

...and the other features are also very helpful.

Thanks a lot for the link and the information.

Just an extra act and more items thats all. The rest stays the same.
Als mutch BIGGER inventory for the chest (about 2 to 3 times as big).

You forgot something important Joliekiller. You also get 2 new characters to start with. That is a Druid and a Assassin. And I think it is even possible to change your non expansion characters to a expansion character, so you can play further with them. That saves you some time.

So is it possible in the B-NET after installing the expansion to be able to keep my ama? It would save me (and all the others that play with me) a lot of time indeed

yep. In your char-choose-screen you have a botton on the bottom witch sais change to expantionchar (or something like that). After pressing this, it should be ok.

See you on bnet!

Thnx Jolie! I will go and take the expansion tomorrow. I discovered that it is on sales too!! It costs almost nothing! So I don't have to wait till pay day!! Keep your fingers crossed to have it in the shop. I am afraid that it will be sold out.

I was just ... "impressed" how small the inventory was - and still is, even with LOD, because you often find so good things and don't know what to do ...

Got a good practice yesterday with Bernhard. Today is the day! I will go for the expansion after work.

I discovered that the mage is a very weak char to play. At least at the begining. You must invest carefully your skills in order to be stronger. Paladins kill with one shot. Why don´t they create women paladins? Women are too weak! At least in you can have a disent female warrior.

@ lynx wow show me some one day

@ luc not entirely true, amazons and sorcs can become very powerfull. But like you said, only lateron in the game (guided arrow and such) And when she has fine weapons like the buriza, windforce or titans (for a javazon).
Sorcs can become pretty powerfull too, though they could find the problem of elemental resisting opponents

@ jvb thnx. That is a problem for the mage indeed. On the other hand I am convinced that when you play in multiplayer game, and you have a team, a mage is usefull. Freeze the enemy in order to slow him down and then paladins and barbarians do their show and kill him

Btw jvb I couldn´t stop laughing with your comments in B-NET. I like your humor [Linked Image]
