Just FYI - I tried to drop an item in a ladder game, exit the game and send another character right back in to pick it up (no other character was in the game at the time). It did not work for me (several times - I'm nothing if not stubborn <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/suspicion.gif" alt="" /> ).
So the only way you can do this (if my experience is representative) is have a friend who is very patient hold a game for you while you run in and out with your "mule" character.
Please let me know if anyone else has been succesful while doing this.
Can anyone explain "Open Battlenet" to me? And if it is possible for us all to play together in that too?
