A super drug gives a fairly long (several hours real time) but temporary +100 Poison Resistance, -100 Spirit Resistance.
If it keeps dropping, though, it might be the bug with removing an item with a Magic Barrier bonus without otherwise having any points in the skill. Have you installed the latest
patch?
