OK i know someone posted on this not too long ago and I never knew about this quest until I read the question of where to get a feign death potion for the guy in the barracks, i forget his name.

PS ive searched the boards but cant find the post where it said where to get the potion.

you find it in the church north of the cursed abby (you have to solve the quest there) and then the guy there sell it to you

the guy in the barracks is called gareth, or garret. something like that.
