I am awfully sorry for english in this post, but can anyone tell me why the process of Marc Dutroux takes so much time?
Because Marc Dutroux - and Michel Nihoul, supposed leader of a network - are constantly, or were constantly, delaying the trial due to procedural errors and paperwork details, mostly.
Also due to the fact that the entire dossier is about 400,000 pages long :o
