You got that right Carrie! I posted befor about spiders. I still think that they shouldn't attack you all the time, but maybe just hang out and let you pass in peace! Ew! I hate those things!

Hmm little dejavu here I remember playing Clouds of Xeen some years ago and as usual you had to bash crates to find stuff, except in this case when I hit the crate some "humongous Bug" jumped out at me, and scared the living daylights right down to my pants, of course this was still in 800 x 600 on a 14 Inch Monitor, so it was like realy in your face, one thing though I will NEVER forget that moment

I love spiders. When i find one of them at home, i am unable to kill it.
I make it slip on a newspaper and i leave it outside.

Me too. A good friend of mine has tarantulas as pets. Some peaceful ones and some very aggressive ones too. I watched them closely and recorded a videotape of them for the animation later. And so i tried to make the spiders in look and move as realistic as possible. Looks like i succeded.

He actually allowed me to hold one for a while. It leaves a strange feeling when a tarantula (bigger as your palm) crawls over hand and arm but not a bad one in fact. Like the soft touch of the window curtain. Just strange.

It took me a while to get it at first, too, but then I thought it was hilarious.
OK, I'm easily amused.

Ya, it was more like rooms full of very agressive/poisonus Mini Coopers! Sorry, all the spiders I have come into contact with were not soft and cuddly! Maybe they could be transformed into kittens? That would be nice!

@ Marian

I want a "newspaper +2" with cold damage to beat these spiders. Can you pass this suggestion to the programming crew?

and a new ultimate weapon was created - one or 2-hander, Hunter? - with or without shield? Expertise necessary? And what if the newspaper skill is broken then?

Marian really did a good job there... Those spiders in were really creepy. He had put even small hair in their foot... bliax

First time I saw them in I was so scared that I lost my warrior. I stood frozen. Hate bugs

@ Kiya,

Make it the weekend edition of the Washington Post... definitely skills needed and probably a two-hander

I don't know if any of you knows the comic "Thorgal", there is an album called Arachnéa. It talks about a kingdom under ground ruled by spiders. The atmosphere created in that album was also awesome (maybe good reference material for Marian ).

Where does the fire damage come from?? Won't that ruin your newspaper?
