It happened on occasion that lockpick was still selected when going into a fight, during this I expected to "restore" myself I ended up trying to lockpick.

Conclusion: once you start an action (lockpick, Flash or whatever, the system expects you to finish this action, so for me the logical thing to to was, stop fighting by left clicking on the ground some meters away from the melee then quickly (or use pause) left click several times with Lock pick unselected, replace the action with restoration and voila, you are ready to fight once more <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
