Its just your opinion, and even if you did mean it was boring, it is still your opinion.

This group of forum members is know for its friendlyness, people don't often want to leave this place, thanks to the nice atmosphere, and I really am shocked to find out that some of us send hate mails <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />

I believe our forum as the most friendly on the whole internet. (maybe with some exceptions).

I must agree with jvb and berhard.

This is the friendliest forum I have ever seen. We have always tried to listen to each other with open minds.

Shame on those who sent the hate pms. I apologize for it even tho I am not one of those whose sent the hate pms.

I hope this does not change your opinion of the forum and its members.

Personally, I love Divinity's relative level of difficulty. I've been playing CRPGs for, hell, something like ten years at this point? And so I, like many other people here, well appreciate a game with that "just right" level of difficulty and challenge.

I want to feel like I've been challenged... not dragged through the mud.

I want to feel like I've accomplished something... not that I've simply beaten yet one more tedious and difficult portion of the game.

DD manages to walk that tightrope quite well, I've found. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> The fact that the player has much more freedom than, say, Diablo in where to go and WHEN to go there means that you really DO have the option of leaving a difficult area until later, or indeed just skipping it entirely sometimes.

I am glad that jvb GoldyLocks and Bernhard mentioned this thing. I was thinking it very much but I did´t want to post and say how friendly and nice people in this forum are because I always do so and in the end no-one will believe that I tell the truth. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

It is still hard for me to believe that there are people in here that would do such a thing. After all we are all gamers in here and we like several different games. It is not bad to say our opinion as long as we respect the work Larians or other companies do for their projects. Even the worst game in the wold includes many hours of work from people, and a little bit of their heart I believe. So as long as we respect that we can always express our opinion and make some usefull comments.

My two cents:

One of the biggest problems is that it is very hard to emote in written language. The phrase:

"OMG THIS GAME IS SO EASY!"

Can mean:

"You're a bunch of losers for ever needing help!"
"That was a poor effort, Larian. Make a more challenging game."
"I'm so happy because I didn't need help every five seconds!"
"Congrats on making a fun and not frustrating game!"
"Right, I'm done. Where's the next one?"

It really all depends on what voice it was said in and who it was said to. I'm sorry your words got mistaken, oBosch. I hope you sorted out your problems there.

Thanks to all of your concern about the hate mail, I did not say the hate mail was from the people of this forum like you all can see. But the hate mail was from the post that I wrote here. You can read the posts here without being a member. I do realize now how dumb I was for not explain it clear enough, my intention was never to upset, insult or even trouble you with this simple thing.

Hate mail is only that, hate mail.I did not feel offended for any of those mails (11 in total), maybe there was someone's idea of a joke, but none the less, I do not care, it's just their opinion.

I do want to give you my apologies for not being clear enough.
I love the people of this forum because they are the friendliest of all the forums I've been.

Please try to understand that my english is not that good, I'm a Spanish native speaker, so it is kind of tricky to express what I'm trying to say.

Anyway, Thanks again very much for understanding all the trouble I've caused for all this.

In my future posts I will try to be more thinkfull of what I will write.

Yeap language is a big problem. I am having a hard time too. I normaly speak Greek and the difference in the language is HUGE. Don´t worry. This forum is the most friendly indeed and I am so glad that my feeling that nobody from here could write (yeah I found how it is spelled!!!!!) hate mails is true. Stay here. We will have a good time.

for the record & i do mean it, i'm sorry for what happened to u. but i'm glad u got through it & still stick around as this IS the friendliest place among strangers. yes, strangers as most don't or won't see one another's face & interact face to face. here is my first forum participation & it'll be my permanent 'home' for as long as larian lives (the company, not the dog). other forums that i joined after are not as great as this.

nope, mine isn't from the weltenwanderer. it's from Animated Anime Gifs Paranoia. raven & for a short time nero also had sig avatars from that site. your sig avatar looks very familiar.
