Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) General Better weapons?

I finished Divine Divinity on normal... If I want to play on hard i will find better weapons than on normal????

I´m afraid not. The difficulty levels don´t change the artifacts you can get. However it is possible to find better items with the reloading technique. (items have random stats.)

And thank the Gods for it! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> I fully appreciate the easy and quick interface and combat "style" borrowed from Diablo, but I am happy beyond words that DD ended the similiarity right then and there.

One thing is for sure. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" /> has a LARGER inventory <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

Oh so true, while I was waiting for <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" /> to get delivered, I was playing D2 without the Expansion and Holy Macaroni I don't know how many times I portalled to and fro just to empty the Inv.

That said, Marian et al, if you read this, you leave D2 for dead, Expansion or not, D2 doesn't even come close to equal, at least to me as a Role-Player, <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" /> wins hands down; no contest <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" /> has better sound, better waepons, better graphics, better gameplay, more replay value, story more complex, all in all, <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" /> is way better game than diablo2........

but I have a little conffesion to make......
that expansion for diablo 2 got me hooked for a long time, that female assasing, was cooooooooooollllllllll

Wow, Can you picture an expansion for Divine Divinity, with new character classes, new weaponry, new armors, new magic spells, and the story could be many years before <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" />. I know a lot of games do that, but it doesn't mean it is not a good idea right?
