Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) General Can't find the game

hello cleglaw,

A couple of questions:
1. I am unable to pick up any herbs or mushrooms no matter how hard I try. Am I missing something?
--> u can never pick any of those up because u're not supposed to. my guess is that u're trying to use your alchemy skill to make potions. what u do is that u drag an empty potion bottle on top of any mushroom or herb to make corresponding potion. red mushroom will yield health potions, blue mushroom for mana, etc.

2. Experimenting with the game in a previous character I found that I received zero experience for any kills made by my summoned skeleton. You also get no exp for kills made by Brock. Does this mean a summoner mage is not a viable character type in this game?
--> it is viable, just that XP earned from kills made by summoned creatures are a fraction of the full XP that u cn get if u make the kill yourself. will have to find a guide on summoner for u.

3. There are so many items of so many types you come across. Without consulting a spoiler list how do you know what to pick up and tote along. I tried to store some weapons in a barrel and a chest but they wouldn't go in. Just drop them on the floor next to your bed in Aleroth and they will still be and readily accesible there even after you leave town?
--> yes, there will always be there even if u drop them on a farmer's field. once generated, items will stay in the game.
