OK, i just beat the catacombs in aleoroth and i got out, as i was walking to the dwarven bread in i saved, the game crashed in the middle of my save...I lost all my progress. This sucks. I dont want to have to start all over again so if anyone has a savegame rght after the first catacombs please e-mail it to me. PLEASE...help a poor guy out, this is my first time playing... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" />

In this case I would strongly advise you to install the latest patch first andthen start a new game. You are not far in the game so this shouldn´t annoy you to much. (at least I hope so) <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

The releas version is full of bugs, and it would be very likely for you to run into lots of them. Download the patch from here.

Afterwards you have to sart a new game, but this one will be (almost) without any bugs.

BTW, the patch adds support for multiple (2 by default) quick saves.

It is possible to change the character's name when you decide which save you want; character name.
If hex editing seems too daunting, Kiya has become a master at this <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin1.gif" alt="" /> and might agree to change the name before emailing it to you, if you ask really nice. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />
I also have a male warrior v1.29, but don't know the stats after the catacombs off hand.
