I've spoken to the dwarf council member and he's told me I need to solve the Axe of Stone quest before he'll join the Council of Seven. Spoke to elf in the prison and figured out it was the mayor (forgot name). Got the mayor drunk but he won't confess to the crime. What am I missing here? Thanks!

This quest seems bugged. The mayor wants mead, but it's not available. You're not missing anything. It just means you'll have to kill the guardian in the Dwarven Mines. At 100000XP, it's probably a better deal anyway <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

Forget about the mayor for now and go to the dwarven mines for stone axe

I talked to the elf, and i got the PW, but in the mines in the Halls the entrance to the 2nd level is still blocked. why?

You need the Stone Axe quest from Eolus, the Dwarven member. What does your quest log say? What did you see in the Dwarven scrying statue?

I don't remember what i see in the statue, but Zan. told me that i would have find the member in the village. The member told me that i had to find the axe for him. I went in the halls, first i entered in the cave i killed all the evil dwarf but the entrance to the second level was blocked. Then I talked to a guard that told me about the elf prisoner, I talked to him and i gave the ale to the mayor that told me the PW. I returned in the cave but it was still blocked. I didn't find the council member in the same order. This is the last i need. I don't know what i have to do.

No, it's fine if Eolus is the last member - I'm just puzzled why the cave-in should still be blocked. I'm sorry, I can't help you.
Do you encounter any black map problems? Crashes? At what part of the game did you patch your game to 1.33? During this Stone Axe quest?

If you have a recent save you can try re-loading. Otherwise, wait for the new patch later today. Even though you have not installed the previous hotfix/patch, if the cause of the problem is the same, the patch may fix it.
