knights & cats of the old republic, how much points in repair do u need to successfully repair at least HK-47's basic functions? i heard it's 17 & that's very hefty!

the meatbag killer is so lovable! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" /> easily the funniest & most original character in the game. this dude made me wish there is a droid character class to play with. heck, even with no jedi powers cool & funny dialogues are more than enough to get me through. i think. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

so how far are all of u now? dang, it's frustrating to win the swoop races & currently stuck in tatooine just because. pazaak is much easier.

Huh, never played pazaak myself. Too lazy to learn.
I have been on Dantooine and Tatooine, now moved to Manaan, just started it.

Small question. Is it ok to wipe out sand peeps? I wanted my dragon pearl back. It doesn't affect allignment. Hope I will not regret it later.

pazaak is just like black jack, except the magic number is 20 & not 21. plus u have 4 extra cards that u can bring in to the table with u to help in winning. better bring in those +/- cards as they are very useful in winning.

as for the miami beach lovers, go ahead & wipe them out. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/badsmile2.gif" alt="" /> but i'm not sure if the dragon pearl is better than most crystals or not.

the mandalorian dude is good for heavy weaponry. just build him up good & he's pretty much unstoppable. but hk-47 seems a good replacement for that dude. he's funny 2!

right now I'm playing the Light Side with a female soldier.
After this I'm also gonna explore the dark side with a female scoundrel I think... not sure about the class

Yesterday raided Sith base on Manaan leaving noone alive. Canth is very good with two pistols.

One more question, how dual weapons hits are distributed. I mean, when I apply power blast with ranged or critical strike with melee, will the character hit with both weapons or just right hand? How does that left hand weapon work?

I just finished the game a second time. As a Dark Sider. Oh my, the ending was glorious. Killing certain NPCs, one of them being my favourite, wasn't as painful as I thought, either. And hearing Malak's submission as his dying words -- now, that was a moment to remember.

*giggles blissfully*

And now, I'm off to write a KotOR fanfic. No other game's inspired me to do this for a long, long time. The last one was BG2, and I never solidified anything much on paper with that one.
