I've been looking for the dragon armor parts without success.
I've got the shield and the gem.
Where do I find the rest of the parts?

In case You don't want a big spoiler here is a small one:
-to get the burstplate see Dwarven King and Sir Patrick
-to get the gloves visit the Dark Forest, Elven Burial Grounds
-to get the belt visit Verdistis
-to get the helmet talk to the Dwarven King

The belt is in the cellar of the house in Verdistis next to the chicken house that the little girl that lost her cat tells you about. You find the key in the log just around the corner...careful of the floor, you'll fall through. The key to the chest that the belt is in is in the rack on the wall. Move the boxes to get to the chest! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />

I seem to have messed up with Sir Patrick - i have the gem, but he won't talk to mek about the breastplate at all :-(.
Any ideas?

The dwarven king told you about the armour? Try talking to the king, Grisha and Sir Patrick a few times; that usually triggers the speech option. If not, check the reply to;
