This is a very strong and good point. I totaly agree. Fear was always the weapon in every religion. But fear is the basic thing that destroys freedom, free thinking, and life itself. So many people have died in the name of religion. And not only that, but we are talking about fanatism above mesure in many cases. The excuse is always the "good cause". And they seem to quarrel about creators - now, who has the trademark? Oh, yeah, and what about all those cheaters in this multiplayer game? Some have boosted up their skills/weapons/abilities - I'm specially thinking about the U.S.A clan and the G.B. - E.U.R.O.P.E clan community seems to be at disadvantage. Hmm, the A.R.A.B clan is going riots - we have to see into that. Maybe our boss monster was too large? It's been taken out now, but effects won't stop.

We've got a deadline, we need the patch version 2004 coming out next week.

All I know is that my avatar and I are not part of the original design. I have a sneaking suspicion that one of the sim-programmers wrote me as a hack or as an easter egg. If so, that would explain my ESP, mood swings, and finely tuned sense of the Absurd.

DQ, I disagree, that's "sloppy design" - it's our first sim - but we need to patch it. Higher AI intelligence maybe? How will we ever be able to sell a sequel with that?

Lots of problems if too much free will.
but if no free will people would mutiny.
but they'd have no free will so they couldn't mutiny.
so they just be mad about not being able to mutiny.
but they have no free will to be mad about.

SO I am confused now.

Easily solved and explained as follows:

SCENARIO A:
Don't give them free will.
Make it impossible for them to prove that they don't have free will.
Then, give some of them the profound belief that they do have free will.
And, give most of them logic and reasoning, so they can argue about having free will.

SCENARIO B:
Give them free will.
Make it impossible for them to prove that they have free will.
Then, give some of them the profound belief that they do not have free will.
And, give most of them logic and reasoning, so they can argue about not having free will.

Either way, you get the same outcomes --

If this is a "bug": Debates about basic human design criteria, due to the absence of the original design documentation and an ineffective customer support help desk.

As for religion, I believe that in everyone there is the capacity for good and evil. And I believe that there is a God, but I don't beleive in the churches or religions. Simply, God is everywhere right? So I don't have to go to chruch to have a chat with Him. Plus, I don't have to hear someone lecture me on rather I'm Good or Bad. That's between me and God. And yes, If there is Good, there is Evil. We just have to keep kicking Evil in the tush, So Good can triumph over Evil.

If everyone would just love one another, the world would be a better place. But alas, that's my Dream. Because I try to have an open mind towards people. I really don't care what religion you are, or what color you are! You can be purple with "red dots".
