Okay, I am running software resolution mode with resolution at 800x600, smoothness is also disabled. The CD is also in it's place in the drive. Also, like you said, the map orients itself just north of the council room, but the screen never loads, and after a minute, the game crashes. I haven't been playing with the CD up to this point, if that means anything to ya.
