Yes - Anne of Green Gables did reciete the Highwayman at the Sands Hotel...And, other song Loreena sang that Anne reads - The Lady of Shallot. (One of my favorite peoms...also by Tennyson...and the painting by Waterhouse is wonderful too)
Faile - they are wonderful books...timeless.
The movies have Meagan Follows as Anne - thay are the best thing CBC has ever done in a movie! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> They make me cry everytime i see them! Rent them if you havn't seen them!
