Okay, I read the 'help' people gave here but it doesn;t work. I can't hit her with my Singing Blade. Only now and then with magical Might on I can do a meager 30 damage. And with the purple potions and strength. I keep stealing her deathknights and distract her with skeleton walls but her hell spikes are ridiculously overpowered. Her shield seems to make her immune. I don't know what that snowy effect is tha she does but whatever I can do is suck potions.

It is just impossible for my mage :-( I find this extrmely annoying. I have a headache. :-( So, tell me please how you cheated and defeated her.

Have you checked this thread already?

If you have, the way I beat her (after a few tries) was just gulping potions and running up to her, ignoring the Dreadknights and all that, and just hacking away. If you're in luck, she won't get a spell off

Or simply give her a taste of her own medicine. Blind her, she cant cast spells then

Thanks everyone, i will try in a minute.

I wonder if I have a good strategy here. I have many skills. ut few are level 5. Most are level 2 and some 3. Alchemy level 5 won't help. I also invested in Wisdom. So my spells aren't doing much damage overall I think. I don't have blind. Or some of the other skills people mentioned. I also curse her [nocando] off but that doesn't seem to impress her. I can;'t keep her busy so she can't fire off a spell. I turn her deathknights on her but they aren't that tough. i distract her with many skeletons and hack away but even if I am buffed up with magical might and some stuff, like strength and purple potions it wont do me much good.

Ah. I'll read these suggestions first. btw, this is my first Josefina encounter.

Vaipen, there are 2 curses: the mage one (she can resist it) the survivor one (she can't resist). Is your's the "Withering Curse" one? Then it's from the mage path.

if you get really frustrated, look at drinking potions and simply bashing her - josie part 49
you needn't even raise your strength to that degree...i just drank quite a few less strength potions to see where i could 'beat' her at. this is of course not naked like in the 'part 49' link, but it shows actually punching through her shell and her not being able to blind me or even hurt me for that matter -
josie less strength
remember, you can combine health and stamina potions to create strength... and i think i took only (ha!!) about 10 to raise to this level.
i DO hope you find a way utilizing your mage skills however - it seems so much more satisfying when you get to play your hero in character.
keep at it, you WILL succeed. good luck!

It took my wiz about 10 minutes to kill her. I used my Master Spy's Hunting Bow of the Artillerist and kept the restore spell on standby (had to use it every 2 seconds........) took about 15-20 minor restore potions to keep my magic up. I also summoned a Dreadknight and Skeletal warrior, then took over her dreadknight using aura of command. For some reason, she decided to target me instead of them, so they continually hacked away at her shield while I tried (almost in vain) to hit her with my bow. Very few hits, but I did like 150 each time. Now, if I could just get past the blessing ritual...........

It is amazing how easy people defeat her. I tried many times with my bow and elemental arrows. I have a longbow of speed. I aimed my character to be a Arcane Archer. Most enemies fall like there is no tomorrow -and there isn't for them- using my rapid bow and elemental arrows.

Anyway, I managed to deafeat her. I am not looking forward to seeing her again. I think i'll get that curse skill that i lack. So how did I do it? I stayed away from her as much as possible. let her own deathknights do it. And I had help. I resurrected dead dwareves. Stout little fellows and I cast enough skeletons to annoy her as I stood there casting only elemetal strike on her...nocando. it did very little damage but in the end I was lucky to have enough healing potions. Thank the Divine One for my economics stratehy in these games. to collect all loot and save money. I even stored potions in barrels. I never seem to rest much these days. I just drink potions.

Anyone else has like over 750.000 worth of goods?

It took me forever to kill her as well. Now I have a problem I'm hoping you can help me with. I can't pick up the quarter staff she dropped. I need that to finish my quest. Got any tips?

Telekinesis? where did it drop? Raze has a download file for this staff - do you want it?

and welcome

here's the link: Look for Holy Items zip - and please, do everything up to Raze's last dot very exactly. If you don't retrieve your old inv files afterwards you're in trouble.

No can do. This is an item I had not picked up before and still cannot grab. I emailed support but they don't seem to respond much. Got any other ideas?

Just the one with Raze's download zip - the link I posted already - or you redo the fight.

Where did the staff drop? Behind the wall?

I'm going to have to fight her again. The staff did drop behind the wall and telekinesis did not work. Wish me luck!! I used those scorpion traps last time and that helped alot!

Well, the problem is this: If Josie gets cornered near a wall, the staff drops off reach. I wish you luck (as I didn't use traps, I never encountered this problem myself).
