and now it's 11:10pm pac Santa's on his way according to CBC radio he's been spotted in the east coast of Canada andis being escoorted by N.O.R.A.D. to make hiis way safely to the west coast and my house in particular, if i'm not mistaken i'm sure he must have a new desk chair for me............ Ahhhhhhhh. here's hooping anyway.............

I bought myself a book as a present. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> it's called "Sprechende Steine" ("telling stones" or so) and is about the letters of the Maya. Very interesting ! The german-language book is actually a translation of an italian book with the title "Scrittura Maya".

In the Fourier Verlag (the publisher) there are several books of this sort, one about egyptian letters as well.

Lynx, yours was not dangerous - I once got into real trouble, because I used "too much" instead of "too many" and insulted a person without intention <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

I said his group was "too much" - meaning too many people - but the phrase I used meant something totally different <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />
