I was simply bored. So I downloaded the demo. Wasn't initially impressed; it seemed too much like a Diablo clone with better graphics. The thing that decided it for me was the tiny dialogue between two skeletons in the first dungeon (the one about technicalities and existence); I recognized it as a mark of attention to detail, of something that no Diablo clone (or Diablo itself) would ever have. So I went out, bought it, installed, and found it worth every cent I paid.
