Do you guys here use that sword or? I just realized that the ghost wasn't kidding, the whole elven village just died. Even my sweat bride <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> Will there be any other effects of me haveing the sword and released death it self?

Many people take the sword out and return it right away (depending on how you leave the area, an elf will approach you with a warning, in case you do not see the entry in the quest log). Some take it after all the quests in the Dark Forest are done (assuming they could reload or knew about the killing spree the ghost would go on in advance).

If you didn't finish the urn quest for the collectors, that will be broken, since they are also dead. No critical quests will be broken (the elven council member will not be killed).

Probably not worth the effort, but; Reviving dead NPCs.

OK...can you just tell me what had happened when i had solved the elf-dwarven reluctance...what would the women in the village say? i have been saving with the quicksave a lot so there is no point for me to reload...

Off the top of my head, she says thank you for solving the conflict and says/implies that you've impressed her, for a human, and earned some respect. You profess your undying love, which she politely rejects. You ask if there is any way to prove your love. She concedes that elf/human courtship is not unheard of, despite the differences in life spans, and says a challenging quest could earn the right to court her. You blather on about true love, and ask what the quest is. She describes a family heirloom (necklace) lost hundreds of years ago and asks you to find it, giving you a picture for identification. You bring the picture to the dwarven jeweler, who creates a duplicate. You then bring the fake necklace to your true love and lie through your teeth, telling her you searched the countryside extensively and finally found the heirloom. She is very grateful, agrees to let you court her, and you get to kiss her a couple times through speech options. Someone brings up the remaining threat to the world, and you leave to take care of that, promising to return when done.
I'd think this behaviour would disqualify you from being the Divine One, but I guess with two Marked Ones dead, the world is not too picky about a little betrayal.
