Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) General How can this be possible ?????????!!!!!!!!!

4 a nice game like divine divinity this sort of things should not happen : i was fighting ingame and i died ... but by mistake instead of pressing quickload i pressed quicksave ,AND THE GAME WAS SAVED , how can this be possible , this should not have happened , the game shouldn't have let me save it if i was dead. Now my only chance is to start all over again wich is not pleasant when i already reached level 17 ... this thing must be repaired or i'll start playin another game , i'm notin the mood to start all over again ...pitty !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ummm... no offense pal, but why the hell would you have had only ONE saved game until that point? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> You literally didn't have anything besides your Quick Save? That's never a good idea in a computer game, regardless of the specific game...

I haven't run into the issue myself, but I'm sure somebody can explain why (or how) it happened to you.

Hate to say but you kind of brought that upon your self only having one save in a game this size. Make it a rule to have a couple of saves just for things like this.. I do~ Sorry you have to start over thoe, kind of bites.. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ouch.gif" alt="" />

Did you have installed the latest which you find here?

If not download and start a new game.

Welcome kool <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" /> - if you play with the last patch 1.0034 => you have 2 quickload slots (can be increased) and the game prevents you from saving if you're dead. Are you playing it with 1.0029?
And I'd advise to have a few extra saves, not only rely on quicksave.

Yea , it was my mistake because i didn't have an other saves , but still that should not have happened...!:)
Anyway 10x ..i started from the beggining and i have a lvl 15 survivor ... now i have 3 saves <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> !!
U know that if u'r dead u can eat ? ehehehehe and your life is up again ?kool ain't it ?:))

the new patch also makes it so you cant save when dead so you dont have to owry about it <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />
