Oops, I think you are in the wrong forum here (this is for "beyond divinity" and not "divine divinity". Concerning your question, I never had problems repairing stuf (actually, I never put more than one point in it because more it is not really worth it) I just don't really remember how I did it. I think I opened my inventory and then I was able to repair stuff but I'm sure the more experienced members of this forum will be glad to help you out. Good luck!
