[color:"orange"]I'm not sure if these have been posted before but here i go!
Welcome, MoneyMike!
[color:"orange"]k enemies become WAY too easy once your around level 30 and up, id reccomend that the bosses adjust to the hero's level and that regular enemies level up as well.
Could be good. Although it makes levelling up a little redundent then.
Divine Divinity was aimed at a too wide an audience. It tried to have as much as possible without forcing people to do things they didn't want to. As a result, those who did everything rarely had a challenge, combat-wise.
[color:"orange"]more detail, in every house you could see a knife, meat, bread, cheese, and a chopping board...why not make a sandwich? this may sound pretty stupid but you gotta admit its pretty cool and somone will mention this in a review, same can be said about alcahol, brew your own beer? spice it up and get DRUNK!
Sounds good! So how is a eating a sandwich better than eating some bread, some cheese and a tomato? What's the reward for your few minutes of work?
[color:"orange"]Drunk!, when drinking too much your strenght gos up greatly but your view is blurred, either the screen blurrs or your accuracy drops down greatly.
I think your Agility and Intelligence are lowered when you drink alcohol in
Divine Divinity, and your Strength is increased. I think blurryness would be off-putting. What about reduced vision? You could literally drink yourself blind! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" />
[color:"orange"]Addictions, why not? take too many potions and you actually need one every hour or so to be able to stay normal otherwise you get f'd up, loss of stats or hp drop or something.
Definately! I think it's close to cheating the way you can down healing potions like it's air.
[color:"orange"]keep weapons job oriented, wizard shouldnt be able to arm itself with the dragon armor set and walk around with a singing blade making his inemies into wedges.
Why not? There's no strict classes in
Divine Divinity. If I want to sacrifice my magical aptitude for increased melee combat skill, why shouldn't I. I'll end up weaker in both fields then if I specialise in one, but in turn, that may be a benefit. Perhaps make it harder for off-class characters to use said weapons. In
Dungeons & Dragons, your class can automatically use specific weapon classes, but you can learn any you like regardless of your class. It just takes the place of more suitable learning.
[color:"orange"]Job specific skills, a warrior shouldnt be able to summon a dread knight, he just shouldnt be able to.
But a Jedi is a powerful warrior. While fighting melee, he does not neglect his mental and metaphysical capabilities.
[color:"orange"]avatar changes clothes, the plate mails looked pretty dull, why not juice it up, the mithril armor should be nice and silvery and shiney, and the sort.
Will be fixed in
Beyond Divinity. Models are now 3D and take up less room, so there can be more textures. Yay!
[color:"orange"]A cape, it doesnt have to do anything they just look cool.
Would be cool. Larian considdered it, but it was rejected due to the amount of processing power it would require (flapping in the wind and such).
[color:"orange"]and have the two skeletons from the beginning argue again, that was funny.
I'm sure the humour will be back. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
[color:"orange"]more technology? i remember playing arcanum and that was also a badass game, why not have technology incorperated into divinity as was in arcanum, not necessarily to that extent but still, having grenades or guns or maybe a flashlight would be pretty cool.
Modern technology is often replaced with magic in fantasy games. A
Light spell would be very useful, come to think of it. I hate it when I can't see more than ten feet away.
[color:"orange"]A mount? this may be pushing it but if it works why not?
Might make things too complex. Maybe. We'll see...
[color:"orange"]bare hand skills, now thats something i would go for, a monk or whatnot,
Would be good. Unfortunately, not yet. See
new possible weapon types.
[color:"orange"]more ninjas.
<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
[color:"orange"]more beer, i couldnt find anymore beer or alcahol inthe game not enough i drank all of it and was out, include some more, i would buy more from rimmer but i ran out of money buying whine from pierce...i think i may have a problem...
...
[color:"orange"]dreams...every once in a while when you go to sleep you a see dream that leaves a small hint about a quest, not story line wise but rather random like
you see a well and hear, east of the dwarves, north of the orcs, south of the merchants and full of magic. or something.

That's cool. I really like that! It would make sleeping worthwhile as well. It could be linked to the Luck ability added to
Beyond Divinity[color:"orange"]Did i mention a cape? like alrik's or Sir Markham's their armour was sweet.
k this is the end of my christmas wish list...man i really want a cape...
p.s more ninjas <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin1.gif" alt="" />
Some very good ideas you've got there. And one thing I noticed: no mention of multiplayer! (Yay! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" />)
