Well, in Divine DIvinity 2? Could u not chose which of the Seven Gods to follow?
I like that. I'd forgotten about those stories in
Divine Divinity. In most games I've played where Deity's are involved, selection of a god gives you access to other possibly unique spells and skills in the form of divine grace. It'd be like another initial selection such as race. Not only can you select from seven unique races, but seven unique dieties as well.
Exactly what I had in mind <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
About the random quest generator, it is a big shame that it didn't work <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" /> Maybe they will get it ready for DD2?
If u r still the Divine One in DD2 then u would have godlike powers, and no need to follow any god but urself. However, if not, if u were even a demigod, u would (or should) follow one god or another.
In Beyond Divinity, the ending of the soulforging may well slay the Deathknight....and if u think he is powerful, guess again. There will always be some demon, some wizard, some celestial, some dragon more powerful than him. I think they might include a powerful female rival this time.....its been a while since the games included a villainess.....maybe a demon or a dark elf.
