I agree with most of whats said, and am looking forward to DD2 as much as anybody. But I don't see why the legitimate user should suffer degraded gameplay with disc checking. Make no mistake! Mechwarrior 4 was a pain in the backside for this in the zone. Besides, a copy protection to a pirate is little more than a distraction. So you see, the only people who are inconvenienced by this is the people who bought a proper copy <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" />
Is there not a DVD version being released? I never see any DVD games for the PC, and DVD drives have been out for years??
