That was going to be 1 of my suggestions for <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beyond.gif" alt="" /> , a DVD version. There was a DVD version of <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" /> released in the U.K., but not here <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puppyeyes.gif" alt="" /> . There are very few games released on DVD. Much to my chegrin. I would love DVD copies. I am more than willing to pay extra for them if I had to. Finding them though is another story.
is only one disc, last I heard. The 3D graphics reduced the size immensely. Aside from that, agreed!
I tend to agree but...
One the one hand, you have companies writing for �370 graphics cards, making sure the games run with all the latest hardware. So why is a �30 DVD drive ignored??? Now come on...There must be more people with DVD drives than �370 worth of Graphics Card <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />
Good point! Quality DVD drives in Australia are $120 (compared to $80 for games). Graphics cards are still several hundred dollars.
But why would someone buy a DVD drive (for this purpose) when a CD drive opperates at the same quality?
