You are right there is no warning that these quests are more difficult then the ones before...
On the other hand there are as far as I know very few people who indeed played the games like you.
Barnabus played a charcter with also bout level9 out of Ionas Dungeon without Shadow potion and cheating. God knows how he did it, I do not... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />
So you could write him to do the same.
Or *cheating mode on* check out
iZakaron´s save editor to edit your stats and/or use
Dad´s item editor to give yurself better items. (just croll down on Kiya´s site to get to the item editor.
