Then the questions arise - what are the basis for some of our myths?
Some we can guess about because we have people or animals in todays societies that lend credence to some of these myths. Please please excuse me if I am "politically" incorrect - I don't mean to be!
[*]The people who have that condition where their whole bodies are covered with hair = werewolves. [*]The people who are sensitive to sunlight and will die if exposed to too much sun = vampires. [*]The people who are born with pink eyes and white skin (albinos) = vampires. [*]People who are born with the giant gene (sorry don't know the technical name) = giants (especially if humans were shorter before). [*]"Little" people = Dwarfs.
What about Dragons? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> Elves? Sorcerers? Witches? Sirens? Banshee? Or more explanations of the ones above? Where do you think our ancestors came up with these ideas? What do you think sparked their imaginations?
