Ratings are useless IMO and may hurt some feelings... I prefer the thought of teamwork than competition.

Uhm, well, "hurt some feelings"? I mean, if that silly rating hurts someone, that person should relax and give a [nocando] about it. But I agree, rating is not needed and it is actually contra-productive.
