Its a shame you're not a survivor as u could easily kill any of the big bosses with 1 or 2 scorpion (U dont need 7!!!). This worked without any effort for me, bare in mind my aim is not to be a fighter but to steal and lockpick as much loot as possible in the divinty world.
I aquired the Heart plate (Dragon armor) in the same way, killed josephine with 1 scorpion. Trick is i dropped it then went upstairs, waited 2 secs went back and the dwarf were busy on the scorpion acting like i didnt exist. Then i used my ducking (stealth) special move and hid in the corner whilst sipping coffee and waiting for the magic to work.
The only thing which greatly damages scorpions as far as im concerned are dragons, but im not far enough into the game yet to find out (im quite far tho).
