i'm the farthermost,farthest, uttermost, extreme maximum furthest away, to the highest extent of degrees longitude... of that i'm pretty sure.....

malaysia's north(a bit to the west) of australia, so i'm as far away from the action as handefood.

the decision of making the tests in-house is wise. we don't want people to leak the beta & then trashed it as if it's already a final version.

I assume the Larians will need some time to organize the responses, and would want to give people time to make plans. The most likely days to have the test would be on the weekend, possible extending to friday and/or monday to accommodate those not doing a standard work week. I'd guess the 24th/25th as the beta test date (or possibly the weekend after that). In order to give any kind of useful feedback, you'd probably have to play at least a couple hours. How much they would let you play would depend on how many people respond and how many computers they have available.

Greece is not so far away from Belgium. And I would love to take part in the testing. But I can not leave work. 1) I live in Belgium (Antwerp) lucky me!! Maybe I'll sign up for the beta test but I also need a date to plan. (a calendar date offcourse)

2) Could someone give me some info of how betatesting works? I think you just play the game and experiment with the quests and whine if something doesn't work?

Well, it's nearer than Malaysia, but Greek is really some several hundred kilometres away from Belgium ... (Sorry)

Have you some information to give about the beta testing of Divinity 1 ?
How many persons ? How many days ? During the week or during the week-end ?

Beyond Divinity beta testing is more important than skiing !!!
Where will you go for skiing ? Did you already pay for your travel and stay in the station ?

I don't have any experience with beta testing though.

I think that by plane is not so far away. I sure didn't plan to go to Belgium by car <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" />... My boss does this trip a lot visiting Exxon in Brussels. I always make the reservations for hotel, plane tickets, check the weather there etc. Bur either far away or close, I can not take some days off work. Even if the testing will take place on weekend I would sure need Friday and Monday.

Anyway I wish that the testing will be a success and to all of them who are going to participate have lots of fun <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

2/ We will test in groups of 5 persons. Every day of the week, no weekends.
Starting at 11 o'clock in the morning until... we throw you out <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin1.gif" alt="" />
On a serious note: till 6 in the evening or maybe 7.

We will start on coming Monday.
Currently organizing the schedule: who, when, what time,...
So if you feel like coming over to test <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beyond.gif" alt="" /> send us an email: test@larian.com But please be aware that you have to be able to come over to our office by yourselves. Because I already got emails from people around the world, but because of security reasons we have in-house beta-testing, not a public beta-testing.

For belgians and arround, it means that they can participate in the beta testing.
For everyone else, it means the game is at the beta strage and it should come out soon!

Does NDA pevent saying stuff like "I love this game"? Does Larian have NDA?
