The site/game is not a problem in itself, just the way some people try to get more clicks. Often (at least in my experience) there is deceit involved to try to trick people into clicking on the link, and it is posted in the wrong forum (see Outwar's anti-spam policy). I think you are about the first person I've seen actually state that the link was going to Outwar, so I clicked it (to get you to 75 feet).
An acceptable way to trick people IMNSHO would be something like Morbo's post
favorite beyond divinity art work. Pretending to ask for, or offer, help in the Divinity forums to get clicks is very annoying spam, particularly since that often appears to be the only reason they joined the forum in the first place.

There shouldn't be anything trying to download. Maybe javascript or something your browser doesn't understand? Maybe something from a popup ad? I use
WebWasher (site appears to be down as I post this) to stop popups.
