oh yeah, i'm back & thanks, luc, for welcoming me back in other threads.

had a great time with friends, fun in the sun, shop till me rot, ate so much great food! oh boy, getting off the borneo island is good once in while.

thanks, luc. i really had fun. especially when stuffing myself with food! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" /> think i gained quite a few kilos but they're all worth it. most of all i get to see my dear friends & it'll be at least 2 more years before i get to see them again. was sad on the way to the airport. wish the good times don't have to end. but we all know all things must come to an end.

*sigh*

still, it's good 2 be back & see u & everyone again. so what's the story, miss morning glory?

Khoo Kongsi
Richly decorated in gold leaf, the Khoo Kongsi in Penang (that's a state in Malaysia) was an association established for the Khoo clan.

Kek Lok Si Temple

Both pix are of the same temple but one is taken in daytime & another at night. also from diferent angles. it's the largest buddhist temple complex in malaysia & the architecture is a mixture of chinese, thai & burmese.

have you been inside....it must be very imagination inspiring!
all the old architecture and design, must look very impressive up close,
very mystical...

i've been inside of the temple & the ceiling's so detailed much like sistine chapel. will post that one up if i can find that pix. that place is huge!

The Kek Lok Si Temple is beautiful in the daylight and at night. I hope you can find the pics of the inside.

I'm a pretty old member myself (at least i "feel" like one).
comming from the old forum, you begin like a stranger amongst gods, or so they seemed to be.
And after some time you get integrated.
You have your moments of glory , your moments of doubt, and your moments of depressions (the "i got the blues" feeling ).

i saw a lot of newcommers in these forums around here , and since i don't "go" with all the treaths here I just becomming a guy who has one or two funny one-liners and that's it.
but i'm still here , and i wont go.
Because the Larians teached me something. we never give up!

this is just a faze. a moment ago i would probably had the same feeling as you right know "thinking what the hell am i doing here right know. but than you get responses for you birthday, or you get a little bit of attention and the fire is enlighted again, like the good old days.
but everything changes.
And so it's always a matter of time before something ends. Because there's nothing in this universe that last forever, not even eturnity!
