Not sure what you mean by land of the dead, unless you mean the wastelands after becoming divine. Been a while since I played the game. The imp that
took them at the castle returns them to you when you visit him at the halls of
the council of seven. ( Left hand room). Until then, you are stuck. It is suggested you go to the castle last, after you do all the other things in the
game. ( not imperative to go at once) Then you have them for most of the game
before the wastelands. Hope this helps.
