Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks orbs portal in catacombs disappeared

After getting the second teleport stone, I returned to Aleroth to put the first by my bed. Then when I returned to orbs portal where I put the orbs initially, the portal was gone and I cannot seem to do anything with the orbs. How do I get back to where the portal took me? I did do a search but have not found a similar topic - I have been playing about 2 weeks, so am a real novice. Would appreciate help. Great boards!

If you had gone through the portal you could have opened the door to the other room, and went up the stairs to open the graveyard entrance. After awhile, the portal disappears if you do not go through it, but there are a couple fixes;

Also, there's a door between the two rooms that the portal links. It starts locked but unlocks once you pass through the portal. It may have unlocked just by opening the portal. Go to the East end of the portal room and see if you can get through the door.
