Never played the Jagged Games, but do have my main character ready and willing for a Wizardry 9 session.

P.S. So does anyone know what identifing item 9 does on an Apple IIC system?

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to hide the bodies of those I had to kill, because they pissed me off.

Jagged Alliance are great RPGs too. More modern setting but it's one of the best tactical games ever.

Sorry dude, I do not know anything about apples. Peaches or PCs maybe, but not apples.

More RPG than strategy.
Every of your men has stats and it's vital to improve them. Besides, RPG stands for Role Playing Game and in JA2 you role-play a merc leader (you can even create your own character by answering a dozen of questions).

Sings: Too young to fall in love...

No, seriously, I think I've seen it on my first school in Canada (even then it was old). Don't cry, mr wizard, everything's going to be alright!

Great!

In the first place, start cleaning the monastery.
You'll encounter 2 boss-like monsters there, so save up all your potions and spell scrolls for those ocasions.
Make sure you explored it VERY well.
-If you can, use the SEARCH function if you think an item could be arround.
-Camp while having your back to a wall.
- Make sure you are confortable with your party. If not, restart the game with another one. You need at least one wizard/magic user, a priest, a good fighter, and a thieving chracter. Concentrate on one or two stats: the faster you get 100 as your primary stat, the better it is.

That's all tips for now.

BIG NOTE : TRAINING, TRAINING, TRAINING !

Use *every* skill the chars have - especiually magic - as often as you can ! Only with this way they get more and more experience with a certain skill !

Raze as that character type which has the powerful mental energy/intelligence--I forget what they are called.
