I do not recommend running spybot and ad-aware on the same machine, as spybot puts empty files with the 'name' of the offending file in place of the culprit(s) and ad-aware would then remove those fakes in which case you would loose your "immunization" IMHO <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

I run them both without any problems. Of course I don't use the immunization feature of Spybot, because as far as I can tell it strictly applies to IE which I don't use. On the other hand even if I did, Adaware gives you the option to selectively remove detected problems. Would that not address your concern Mea? I have noticed that although both programs address the same type of junk on your computer, each will pick up stuff the other one misses.
