Actually that would be a pretty nifty way to extend the game by adding a new difficulty level--the 2nd time arpund you play without a death knight! It raises all kinds of philosophic questions too. For instance can good survive without the presence of evil, etc.

Sadly it probably can't happen since the game will surely include puzzles that need both characters

Yeah, they mentioned that the two charaters can teleport items between each other and made a specific point that it could have "interesting effects". Sounds like a puzzle to me! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

If you're going to have a hard mode, just reduce the experience points you gain, or make everything twice as difficult to do (double hit-points, double skill required to pick locks, etc.)

ah yes the battlefields.
but can we enter it AFTER we finish the game?

Afaik you can (unless it got changed at the last minute).

According to Marian, You can return to the Battle Fields. Whatever shape or form that may be. But just think about it. By the time you finish the game, your character will probebly be UBER, so really you my not need the DK any longer. You will still have the Dolls! They sound pretty awsome in their own right. Geeze! Waiting for this game is driving my blood pressure through the roof! Help me oh Great Larians!

If it would allow you to play the game without the Deathknight for a second time, wouldn't it be practically impossible to undo the soulforging??? And, no, Good can't survive without the presence of evil, but then again that's why there is neutrality.
